Birtley Brick Slip Lintels for applications below 18m are engineered structural steel lintels with pre-bonded brick slips that visually match the surrounding masonry, providing a seamless aesthetic with speed and accuracy. These systems are typically bonded with polymer-modified adhesives onto galvanized mild steel.

• Structural Lintel Base: Made from stainless steel Grade 304, suitable for supporting loads over openings such as doors and windows.
• Pre-Applied Brick Slips: Bonded in a factory-controlled environment using construction-grade adhesives for precise alignment and secure adhesion.
• Brick Matching: Brick slips are customer-supplied or sourced to match adjacent masonry, bonded on soffit and fascia faces.
• Rapid Install: Arrives to site ready to install, reducing wet trades and improving programme efficiency.
• Design Adaptability: Suitable for single and multi-span openings, with soffit returns or corner junctions available.
• Fixings & Flashings: Lintels are supplied primed or powder-coated with optional cavity trays and weep holes as per project spec.

Compliance Note:

Birtley ensures full traceability and conformity to BS EN 845-2 for structural steel lintels. Below 18m, non-A1 rated adhesives and materials are permitted as per fire performance guidance (Approved Document B).
