I Section (Spine) Wind Posts
Developed for internal partition stability, the I Section or “Spine” Wind Post delivers vertical rigidity within structural or partitioning walls. Ideal for preventing deflection or cracking across internal blockwork.
Delivered as a complete engineered assembly with welded base plate, adjustable top cleat, and wall ties, each defined to match your wall width and fix point conditions.
Fabricated in 304 stainless or S275/S355 galvanised steel. All fixings are prepared to ensure compliant connection to concrete, steel, or masonry substrates. Dissimilar materials must be isolated.
Utilising wall ties the post is embedded into the inner and outer walls, reinforcing it from lateral loads.
Every Wind Post comes with a welded base plate, loose top cleat, relevant fixings and wall ties. The base plate and top cleat are designed to suit your application no matter the substrate. The wall ties are selected to suit your wall cavity size.
Stainless steel grade 304 and galvanised mild steel grades S275 and S355 are available. Always isolate dissimilar materials. Calculated as a simply supported beam.
